24-Hour Virtual Cycling World Record Attempt

Local Cyclist Attempts Guinness World Record to Support and Honor Mom’s Breast Cancer Diagnosis

WHAT:
Matthew J. Lefthand (32) of Marriott-Slaterville, having achieved the record for the most miles cycled by an American within a 24-hour period in February, is now taking on the 24-hour virtual cycling Guinness World Record. This effort means more than the accolades of being a World Record Holder as Lefthand encourages the public to give charitably to the National Breast Cancer Foundation as his mom faces her own cancer treatment. Donations will be incentivized with special merchandise, giveaways, and an opportunity drawing. The public is invited to participate in the event by joining physically at ENVE HQ or virtually on Zwift or YouTube. Lefthand’s attempt is supported by BrainStoke, ENVE, Rotor, Wahoo, and Zwift.

World Ultra Cycling Association (WUCA).

HOW:
Media are welcome at any time during the event. Record completion will be celebrated on Sunday, April 20, at 6 a.m. with breakfast to follow.
